Feathery White Summit Clouds

Sort of Tea - Yunnan Mao Feng

Feathery White Summit Clouds

Produced in YunnanProvince, the birthplace of tea, Yunnan Mao Feng is a rarity hard to find. LancangCounty is a cradle of ancient tea culture. Tea plantations stretch for miles in the relic woods of Lancang, and their history counts more than a thousand years. Yunnan Mao Feng is produced using the purest ecologically clean tea leaves and is therefore very rich in biologically active substances, which is why in China it is considered a Sheng Tai Cha, or an organic tea. The freshest spring flushes consisting of a lush velvety bud and a tender leaf undergo traditional processing procedures of pan-frying, rolling and baking. The dainty green-yellow tea leaves elegantly unfold in the maize-yellow infusion giving an occasional slightly green gleam. The drink combines an intensive strong aroma with a slight hint of a pine smoke, and an unusual bitterly-fresh flavor followed by a long-lasting aftertaste.
