Xi Hu Long Jing is justly believed to be one of the best sorts of tea in the world. The tea grows exclusively in favorable natural conditions, on the hills around Lake Xi Hu, the pearl of China and the world-famous source of Long Jing.

The tea is unique because only a special sort of the tea tree with delicate little leaves, very rich in amino acids and vitamins is used. The very early harvest of only the youngest spring buds with the first of the shoots on them as well as diligence and carefulness of the tea masters allow the producer to attain exceptional quality of the tea.

The processing of Xi Hu Long Jing is very complicated. It is entrusted only to the most expert of tea masters. Due to a unique manual technology of iron wok-frying the tea leaves are exquisitely straight-shaped and flat, green-yellow in color with smooth glossy surface. Xi Hu Dragon Well is world-famous as the tea of “four perfections”: its tender emerald color, delicate orchid aroma, the purest of tastes, and graceful outward appearance.
