Lishan mountain (Pear mountain) is located in the middle of Taiwan island. The mountain is well known not only for its picturesque views and honey pears which grow here in high numbers, but it is also one of the growth places of a rare and one of the most expensive tea in Taiwan. Gardens of Li Shan Wu Long Cha tea are truly considered on of the highest located plantations not only in Taiwan, but in the whole world: tea plants grow here at the altitude from 1500 to 2600 meter above sea level. With a high quality of a finished product and very small production volumes (small sizes of plantations and limited amount of plucking seasons due to weather conditions of this region), the demand for this tea constantly exceeds the offer. Possessing fragrant aroma with natural fruit and delicate flower notes Li Shan Wu Long has a high value among tea lovers and belongs to a category of rare expensive sorts.
