Oolong from Mount Dong Ding

The plantations of Dong Ding Wu Long are located on the territory of the Dongdingshan Mountain Range at altitudes of 600-1000 meters above sea level. This sort is produced using whole flushes, containing a young bud and two fresh leaves. Dong Ding Wu Long pertains to the so called hemispherical (curled in the shape of a hemisphere) tea group and the Qing Xiang Wu Long Cha category (Lightly Fragrant Oolongs). The tea’s rather heavy glossy leaves, their shape resembling tiny hemispheres, are deep dark green with tints of yellow, through which saturated, almost black hues and pale-grey specks show through. The tea’s crystal clear golden-honey infusion with glares of emerald presents with a delicate long-lasting aroma with just a mild hint of florals. Its pleasant seasoned taste comes with a surge of a rich slightly sweet aftertaste.
