Jiu Qu Hong Mei is produced in ZhejiangProvince near the city of Hangzhou in the Xi Hu lake area. Jiu Qu Hong Mei is one of the most valuable sorts of traditional Chinese red teas, recognized for its exclusive high quality. The tea grows on the slopes of MountDawu in exceptionally favorable natural conditions. Only delicate buds with two barely opened leaves are used for this tea, raw material processed using a special technology. Glossy brownish-red pointed leaves of Red Plum are carefully rolled. They are exquisitely graceful as the most delicate silk thread, and are slightly curved. The drink combines a fresh deep taste, a rich aftertaste and a pure full-bodied aroma reminiscent of a delicate plum.
