Ren Shen Wu Long is produced in Anxi County, the homeland of Chinese tea, and pertains to the category of flavored teas. The young just opened shoots from high-mountain plantations are used as raw material for high gradation Ren Shen Wu Long. The tea flushes – elastic, juicy buds with two robust leaves – are processed using a traditional technology for semi-fermented teas, and during drying the leaves are rolled in the powder of sun-dried ginseng. This kind of tea possesses a wide array of distinct qualities. Rounded tightly rolled leaves are evenly colored in hues of greenish-brown with a slight glossy luster. The tea yields a clear amber-yellow infusion. Strong, thick, persistent aroma carries notes of flowers and fruit. The drink combines a mild spicy taste and a long slightly sweet aftertaste. Ginseng gives the tea a slight sweet smack and makes it exceptionally good for health.
