White tea : Silvery Buds from Purple Peaks

Silvery Buds from Purple Peaks

Sort of Tea - Nan Nuo Shan Gu Shu Ya Bao

Origin -
Silvery Buds from Purple Peaks

Nan Nuo Shan Gu Shu Ya Bao  is one of the most valuable varieties of Purple tea and is produced from young juicy buds picked early spring in limited quantities from venerable wild tea trees. The buds containing a stockpile of nutrients undergo gentle heat treatment – sun wilting or drying using the oven heat method. The relatively large puffy tea leaves of Gu Shu Ya Bao retain the natural shape of unopened spring buds delicately attired in tender tea leaves. The crystal-clear infusion of rich golden-yellow is markedly fragrant of ripe timber and fruit with just a hint of resin, and yields a refreshing aftertaste of honey. The tea is exceptionally rich in antioxidants.
