White tea : Snowy Buds of Wild Trees

Snowy Buds of Wild Trees

Sort of Tea -Ye Cha Shu Bai Xue Ya bao

Snowy Buds of Wild Trees

The Ye Cha Shu Bai Xue Ya Bao tea is produced of young juicy buds picked early spring from age-old wild tea trees. The buds are plucked in limited quantities; therefore Ye Cha Shu Bai Xue Ya Bao is rare and very valuable. The tea growers choose a specific time interval for picking, right when the buds lose their plum tints and a pale-green shot of the newborn tea leaves starts to show through the dense silver of tiny hairs. The tea undergoes gentle heat treatment, sun wilting or oven drying. The large, elongated tips resemble tight unopened buds of a tea rose. The tea yields a crystal-clear infusion of transparent golden yellow with cooler shades of chrysolite, fragrant of timber and fruit. The drink’s delicate flavor contains a soft note of birch sap. The tea is exceptionally rich in antioxidants.
